Project Management

This course covers the specific skills required to effectively lead and manage projects.

This course assumes that participants are familiar with basic computer operations and basic budgeting.

Specific topics include:

• Define project stakeholders and project parameters
• Develop project plan including timelines, work breakdown structure, role and responsibilities
• Formulate risk management plan for project, including occupational health and safety (OHS)
• Develop project budget
• Provide support for project team members
• Implement record keeping systems
• Implement and monitor plans for managing project finances, resources (human, physical and technical) and quality
• Review project outcomes
