The Diploma of Tourism program teaches students to create international fares and tickets, including e-tickets, in addition to professional itineraries and working on Galileo, a travel industry-based computerised reservations system.

Getting ahead in the tourism industry requires specialised knowledge of the software and products used every day in the travel and tourism industry. The Galileo booking system is the central focus of the tourism course and this focus ensures that what is being delivered in the classroom is the same as what is being used in industry. Martin College currently has a more up-to-date version of Galileo software than most Travel Agencies.

  • Our teachers are accredited by Galileo to deliver the teaching required for the Galileo certificates.
  • Get a respected, industry recognised Diploma qualification.
  • Achieve two additional accredited qualifications in the industry standard reservations system Galileo.
  • Learn from experts with vast tourism experience.

Degree transfer

Successful completion of the Diploma of Tourism offers the following credit transfer options:

  • 1 year credit into Raffles College of Design and Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce (major in Tourism).
  • Bond University: 80 credit points into the Bachelor of Tourism Management (All Majors); 60 credit points into the Bachelor of International Hotel and Resort Management.
  • 8 unspecified exemptions into the USQ Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Business Administration.
