Diploma of Business (Part-time)

The Diploma of Business is designed for young professionals seeking the necessary skills for career advancement in the public, private and community sectors, from large commercial enterprises through to small not-for-profit organisations. 

We know that you lead a busy life and finding time for study can be difficult.  This course is a mix of face to face classes and self-study so that you are able to balance your work and study. 

Study load

• Attendance: Lectures on Tuesday & Thursday from 6-9pm
• Self study: 6 hours per week, in your own time
• Reading from support texts
• Assessments for each subject

Specialisations

If you would like to specialise in event management or travel and tourism, you will have the opportunity to study additional subjects alongside the Diploma¹. 

The additional specialisation modules are timetabled during mornings and afternoons in May, June, July and August (Modules are run in full-time mode, but may be available part-time if demand is sufficient.)

Entry requirements

• At least 20 years old
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Applicants should include their CV and/or a statement of purpose which outlines their work experience and reasons for wanting study further
• Candidates should be employed or actively seeking employment
• This course is not available to immediate school leavers without work experience

• Diploma graduates may articulate directly into the Advanced Diploma of Business Management with significant credit

  1st installment ($2,620) and enrolment fee ($200) due on application
  2nd installment ($2,620) due 25th August 2008
