About Brisbane

Video Tour of the City

Queensland’s capital is an ideal place to live and study, thanks to its near-perfect year-round climate, wide range of attractions and casual, outdoor lifestyle.

The inner-city has a lively street café scene, a great riverside park, and a busy cultural calendar.

Attractions

With such gorgeous weather, you'll want to be outdoors most of the time - when you're not studying, that is!

That's not a problem with two major parks right in the city centre. Take a free guided tour of Roma Street or experience Southbank Parklands with its many open-air cafes, the Queensland Cultural Precinct, craft market and beach lagoon situated alongside the Brisbane River. Here you'll often find theatrical events, concerts, and river regattas too.

If you prefer to shop, you'll enjoy the half-kilometre long Queen Street Mall, Chinatown, and the Valley markets. The fun needn't stop in the evenings, either: there's a vibrant nightlife in Brisbane which takes in restaurants, bars, theatres and clubs.
